After Sales Care
Whilst we endeavour to ensure there will be no problems after you move into your new home, we do rely on a variety of suppliers and subcontractors and we do not pretend to be perfect, so they do sometimes occur nonetheless.
For this reason, details of our remedial work policy are included in the handover pack you receive when you complete the purchase of your new home, as well as here for easy reference.
Premier Guarantee for New Homes
Thomas Homes is a Premier and NHBC registered developer and builder, and as such we design and build homes not only in accordance with the Building Regulations, but also in accordance with the Premier or NHBC standards of construction, as applicable.
Each home is inspected by Premier or NHBC at key stages, and your new home will be covered by a 10 year Premier or NHBC Building Guarantee Warranty Policy.
Upon legal completion of your new home you will receive a copy of the Premier or NHBC Homeowners' Guide which provides information and guidance on your Building Guarantee Warranty Policy and advice on settling into your new home.
Please note that certain previous sites were covered by the Zurich Building Warranty Policy, but this is no longer offered for new sites. In such cases you will have been given separate details in your handover pack, as applicable.
Thomas Homes has also signed up to the Consumer Code of Home Builders that sets out mandatory requirements that all home builders must meet in their marketing and selling of homes and their after sales customer care.
