Bracknell Regeneration Partnership (BRP) is delighted to announce that it has sold Eagle House, the currently ‘cloaked’ building above the restaurants on Eagle Lane, to Thomas Homes.
Thomas Homes, a local developer, will re-commence work on the building immediately and aim to complete the project within 18 months. When finished, Eagle House will contain 84 apartments, ranging from one to two bedrooms.
Chris Brotherton, land and sales director at Thomas Homes says: “Eagle House is in a fabulous location, with The Lexicon literally on the door-step and a short walk to both the train and bus stations.
“The main structure for the building is already in place, work has commenced on finishing the roof and once complete, we will work on the sides of the building before creating its new interior.
“We hope that the mix of apartments will appeal to first time buyers, single occupiers, couples and new families.”
Thomas Homes is one of the largest private residential developers in the region and its urban regeneration projects have received multiple awards.
Simon Russian, development manager for Legal & General on behalf of Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, says: “We are delighted that Thomas Homes, with its strong reputation for building quality but affordable homes has purchased Eagle House.
“We are confident that prospective local buyers will be impressed with the attention to detail on the apartments, its location and the amazing views that Eagle House will offer.”
